Cakes I bake and Design

Cakes I made for my childrens party yesterday

These were supposed to be anime cakes based on my childrens favorite charecters but both the cakes would have ended up being red so the kids gave me alternate ideas and it worked out perfectly.

The first cake is a Chibi charecter cake

it is based on my daughters own chibi charecter design and her favorite colors

CHIBI

This round top layer is vanilla  with vanilla buttercream and fondant

Chibi with lillies and flowers

This second layer the all blue one is coconut with coconut flavored buttercream

The second cake is for my son 

he likes X men  and this cake includes his favorite  colors

I went for a geometric design and 

later realized that the cake reminded me more of a poke ball from pokemon

The top layer is also  vanilla with vanilla buttercream icing

His bottom cake is lemon with lemon flavored buttercream icing
